Dr. Axelrod received her B.S. in Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts and
received her N.D. from Bastyr University (1987). She graduated from Southwest
College of Naturopathic Medicine Acupuncture program (1999) and is nationally
certified and state licensed in Acupuncture. Dr. Axelrod also attended the New England
School of Homeopathy and completed a year long certificate training in colorpuncture.
She has received advanced training in the use of cold laser, IV therapeutics, and
Sanum Therapies.
At Arthritis Health, Dr. Axelrod offers medical services including family medicine,
women's health, rheumatology, acupuncture, homeopathy, pain management,
nutrition and botanical medicine.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Axelrod is also a Professor of Clinical Sciences at
the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and is on staff at Maricopa Integrative
Health System where she supervises students at an outpatient facility.
